Don't Make Your Home A Mess
This is a very delicate subject and should be handled with extreme care (kid gloves and all). With today's economy and the job market the way it is, it can be a frightening journey for an adult child. Let me ask you. Why would a child want to leave home? Nothing says living -like living in
The Hotel Family Inn. Where else can they go and enjoy the comforts of a hot meal, shelter, laundry service, cleaning, and free internet and entertainment. "Why Should They Leave?" No where on this planet will they receive the hospitality and amenities like the
Hotel Family Inn. We as parents tend to facilitate our kids with too much pacification, as if their still infants. Most adult kids are not prepared to move out on their own with today's ideology of parenting. When facing this issue it's best to remind the adult child that he or she is an emancipated adult and should be prepared to live on their own life. Stop providing "child like" luxuries and hold them responsible and accountable for their own life. This practice should be taught from the ages of 13-18. When your grown child reaches the legal age of adulthood, maybe (just maybe) they will be ready to leave the house.
