The truth is in the Text.
I remember in the flinstone days when you had something to say, you said it on the phone or in person. Today millions of people adopt the "I'm going to Text Message my relationship." Can you really get the meaning of what a person is feeling with abbreviated slang text jargon. People use to ask for a date with a verbal "would you like to go to the movies." It sounds better hearing it then it is to read it. It is easy to hide behind the words of a text and not face the person. How simple it is to text your girlfriend that "I'm breaking up with you," then it is to hear her crying ( you don't want to listen to that). You're much too busy ignoring her, since you never had to confront her in the first place. Men are breaking up and berating their girlfriends via Text Mess at an alarming rate. These New Millennium Coward boyfriends take the punk way out by hiding behind their phone aps. Man-Up and take a gentleman's approach to communicate appropriately. Don't Text Mess your relationship.
It takes two to have a text relationship. If don't want a text relationship then it's simple. Don't participate in it!. If he texts you, call him up and say, if it's it not a picture of your puppy doing something cute or something difficult to remember verbally like an address or a serial number, call me. I often wonder why women complain about how men conduct a relationship when they let them define the relationship.
ReplyDeleteI don't have the patience or tolerance to go back and forth with anyone who wants to communicate via test messaging. I will dissolve that friendship or relationship immediately.
